Link Transit has been providing public transit service to Chelan and Douglas Counties since December 1991. We serve all the communities in Chelan County, as well as East Wenatchee, Rock Island, Orondo and Waterville in Douglas County. Service operates Monday – Saturday, the hours of service vary depending on the community you live in.

Link currently carries about 3200 people per day Monday – Friday, with work and school being the primary purposes of travel. Commuter services between Wenatchee and Chelan or Leavenworth are heavily used, and save those people a lot of money over the cost of driving alone. Within Wenatchee and East Wenatchee, a fleet of trolleys and buses make travel from home to office, school, shopping, medical appointments or nearly any other location easy, convenient and affordable.

In addition to the economic benefit of using public transit, the environmental benefits are huge. Link’s fleet of buses produce virtually no carbon emissions, and the diesel trolleys in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee are scheduled to be replaced with electric battery trolleys later this year.
