Freyda Stephens (2017 - present) Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel My husband and I must have been bitten by the wanderlust bug at early ages since we managed to spend time though out the US states during our careers. I was born in California but moved to the East at a very young age. Attending several schools, I graduated from Fresno State College with a BA in Education. After we married, we traveled for our business and then over 25+ years ago I was hooked on the Hospitality/Hotel World! I have been a General Manager for Major Franchises of Full Service hotels from So Carolina to California, Texas and Anchorage . I had the opportunity to come to Seattle to be the GM at the Roosevelt Hotel and in 2003 was lucky enough to be offered the chance to transfer with our company to our beautiful Wenatchee as General Manager of the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel and Convention Center group. I have always enjoyed being involved in tourism and Downtown groups and have served on the Boards in every location. My son, his beautiful family and my 10 yr old granddaughter live in Las Vegas and owns his own business as have my husband and I in the past, so we understand the world of being self-employed and the commitment it takes! I thoroughly enjoy my time as a Board Member of the Wenatchee Downtown Association (actually this is my 2nd time) as we work for a group of partners that are all vital to the success of Historic Downtown.
